Single Storey Rear Extension - Backworth

This project involved the construction of a single-storey rear extension to create a spacious, open-plan living area at the back of the property. The primary aim was to enhance the home’s functionality and provide additional space to better support the day-to-day needs of the clients.


With one of the homeowners living with disabilities, increasing the available floor area was essential. The new extension delivers a more generous, free-flowing layout that improves accessibility, circulation, and ease of movement throughout the main living space. The open-plan design seamlessly connects the kitchen, dining, and living areas, creating a practical and adaptable environment tailored to their lifestyle.
