Church conversion into two Apartments - Newcastle Upon Tyne
This project involved the sensitive conversion of a former church into two spacious residential apartments. The design carefully balanced the introduction of modern living standards with the preservation of the building’s historic character.
Externally, the existing architectural features were fully retained to preserve the church's original form and appearance. The only visible additions were conservation-style roof windows, discreetly integrated into the roof slope to provide natural light while maintaining the integrity
of the structure.

Internally, the apartments were designed to be generous in scale, making the most of the building’s height and proportions. The result is two unique, character-filled homes that celebrate the original architecture while delivering comfortable, contemporary living spaces.
